On Friday, I will be checking for complete Table of Contents for Strand H and all the appropriate worksheets in order. I will also be looking for homework sheets from weeks 1 and 2. (These may be downloaded from the homework link.) Students should also have their Native American project sheets in the Social Studies project section of their binder. There will be four binder checks (weeks 3,5,7,9) for a total of one grade so this first check is worth 25%. Science Dictionary Strand H is due for a grade on Friday, September 10th. All words should have a picture and a sentence using the word for full credit. Strand H: ALL WORDS Monday - Labor Day Holiday - no school
Tuesday - No DOG due to Benchmark testing - we will pick up next week :-)

Click on the arrow to play this video that expains how a salt marsh used to be a forest. It changed due to subduction of tectonic plates.
